Day 01
Kandy
Take a driver and tour guide when you arrive in Colombo then continue your journey across Sri Lanka. You may be taken to Kandy the capital of the former Sri Lankan monarchy situated atop a hill. While traveling to Kandy make a stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage which treats sick and abandoned elephants. An elephant is occasionally seen swimming in the river. Journey to Kandy and pause en route at a garden utilized for Ayurvedic purposes.
Day 02
Kandy
Today unwind at your accommodation after waking up in the center of Kandy. During your Kandy city tour, you will see the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic also known as “Sri Dalada Maligawa”, and the Royal Botanical Garden. The Kandyan fire dance show takes place in the evening.
Day 03
Nuwara Eliya
You will arrive directly in Nuwara Eliya popularly referred to as Little England on the third day of travel. You must hike through the forest to get to Ambuluwawas summit at the Biodiversity Complex. White water rafting in Kitulgala is another optional activity that you can engage in if you so choose. A manufacturing facility a tea plantation and the Ramboda waterfall are all included in your schedules. Known for its Ceylon tea Sri Lanka has been a source of happiness for people all over the world for more than a century. Nuwara Eliyas beckons with its crisp air and charming colonial atmosphere of cottage-style dwellings.
Day 04
Nuwara Eliya
In the mornings you can spend time at Horton Plain National Park or just relax at the hotel. It is highly recommended that you visit Horton Plains one of Sri Lanka's most breathtaking World Heritage Sites during your visit. Moreover, guests can play golf on the 18-hole Nuwara Eliya Golf Club course or go on a boat safari at Gregory Lake.
Day 05
Yala
On the fifth day get up early and head to Yala a place famous for having large populations of elephants and leopards. This wildlife park is one of the most popular in Sri Lanka because you can see nearly every species of animal that calls it home. On the way to Yala, you will stop at the Ravana waterfall and Ella City. In Yala National Park you will also go on a Jeep safari in the afternoon.
Day 06
Hikkaduwa
In the afternoon you're going to either Bentota Beach or Hikkaduwa. Looking quickly around the wreck you can get some amazing shots of a stilt fisherman. There is also the Sea Turtle Hatchery project and the Galle Dutch fortress which was originally constructed by the Portuguese in the sixteenth century and then rebuilt during the Dutch Colonial era in the seventeenth century. As of right now the Galle Dutch fortress in Sri Lanka is acknowledged as a UNESCO World Historical Site making it the best fortification constructed in Asia by European conquerors.
Day 07, 08
Hikkaduwa
Throughout the two days, you are welcome to join in beach activities! You may also like diving, snorkeling, and soaking in the landscape.
Day 09
Departure
You will then leave and bid farewell to your vacation!
